The Jets will have the 20th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. This is a rough pick to get. It goes to the team that missed the Playoffs with the best record. It is a symbol of being so close but so far. Thirteen teams had a winning record in the NFL in 2015. The Jets are the team not going to the Playoffs from that group.
Picking this low is not a curse, though. In the NFL there are excellent players to be had no matter where you pick in the first round.
The first twenty picks are set. The remaining twelve will be determined by Playoff results.
