There have been rumors about Falcons special teams coach Keith Armstrong being a candidate for the Jets special teams coach opening. There has been some ambiguity about his contract situation. It seems like he might be off the table.
#Falcons coach Dan Quinn does not anticipate any other coaching changes to his staff.

As I reported over 2wks ago, it was unlikely #Jets would be able to hire #Falcons' STC (https://t.co/lDp0jEu9SL) https://t.co/9B0hBD9hxA

The Jets tried to hire Armstrong a year ago after Todd Bowles was hired. Armstrong is highly regarded and a college teammate of Bowles at Temple.
Another special teams coach who has worked with Bowles, Dave Fipp of the Eagles, survived that team's coaching change.
Does Bowles have his eyes on somebody he worked with on the Cardinals? Has he been waiting for their season to end? We will have to wait and see.
