The NFC Championship Game pits the two best teams in the NFL in the 2015 season. No team won more than the 15 games the Panthers won. The Cardinals had the second most wins with 13. The top teams in the AFC, New England, Denver, and Cincinnati won 12. I would argue the eyeball test also says the Panthers and the Cardinals were the best teams in the league this season.

Only one team threw for more yardage this season than Arizona. Only one team rushed for more yardage than Carolina. The Panthers defense gave up the second fewest yardage per play. The Cardinals defense was ninth. There is a good chance the two quarterbacks in the game, Cam Newton and Carson Palmer, will finish 1-2 in MVP voting. On paper, this looks like a potential thriller.

This will turn into the game thread around kickoff time. Use the widget below to make your prediction on the game.
