Through the season, we periodically checked in on "run sack" totals for the Jets. When a player tackles the quarterback on a passing play for either no gain or a loss, he gets credited with a sack. So such designation exists for run tackles resulting in no gain or a loss. With the season over, we can take a look at the final totals.
Damon Harrison led the way for the Jets with 22. That actually put him second the league behind only JJ Watt's 25. Rookie Leonard Williams was right behind Harrison with 21, tying Ndamukong Suh for third in the NFL. David Harris tied for ninth in the league with 18. It is no wonder the Jets had such a great run defense.
