NFL Playoff Results and Schedule: Seahawks and Packers Advance

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

It was a clean sweep for the road teams on Wild Card Weekend. After the Chiefs and Steelers won yesterday, the Seahawks and the Packers won on the road today.

On an incredibly cold day in Minnesota, the Seahawks wiped out a 9-0 fourth quarter deficit to beat the Vikings 10-9. Minnesota fans are one of the few groups that can give Jets fans a run for their money in the heartbreak column. Not only did they see their team blow a two score lead in the final quarter today, they watched their kicker, Blair Walsh miss a 27 yard game-winning field goal try in the final minute.

Meanwhile in Washington, the Packers erased an early 11-0 deficit as their offense finally got rolling again on their way to a 35-18 win. Seattle advances to a showdown next week against the Panthers, while the Packers have a Saturday night date with the Cardinals.
