The first day of the NFL Playoffs was ugly in more than one way. Hopefully we can get things back on track on day two. The first game of the day pits the two-time defending NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks against the NFC North Champion Minnesota Vikings.

This has a chance to be one of those all-time bad weather games. The temperature is expected to be around 0 degrees. These conditions could help make this game as memorable as the Ice Bowl, the 1981 AFC Championship Game between the Bengals and the Chargers or the 2007 NFC Championship Game between the Giants and the Packers. This is the type of game that makes me wish the new Vikings stadium was outdoors. How do they not take advantage of the cold like this?

Despite the weather, I think it is tough to pick against the Seahawks. Despite a blip on the radar against the Rams two weeks ago, they enter the Playoffs on fire. That includes a 38-7 rout of the Vikings in this building a month ago.
