New Year's Day College Football Thread

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

College football takes center stage today.

The Outback Bowl features Northwestern against Tennessee.

The Citrus Bowl has Michigan facing Florida.

Then there are the last three games of the New Year's Six. None of these games are semifinals. Those happened last night. Clemson and Alabama both won to advance to the National Championship Game. Three appealing matchups are on the docket today, however.

The Fiesta Bowl features Notre Dame against Ohio State. Both teams suffered heartbreaking late season losses to deny them spots in the College Football Playoff? How will these teams respond? Will Ohio State be motivated after the defending champions saw the team that kept them out, Michigan State, get blown out last night?

Iowa and Stanford face off in the Rose Bowl. That is always a special game.

In the nightcap, Oklahoma State faces Ole Miss.

Leave your thoughts on the games below and on potential Draft prospects to watch.
