After an ugly first half, the Philadelphia Eagles lead the New York Jets 24-7 at halftime at MetLife Stadium. This has all of the makings of a letdown game after a big road win. The Jets have performed poorly in all three phases of the game. The defense has been a missed tackle, blown assignment machine. Special teams gave up a long return for a touchdown. The offense ended the note on a positive with a touchdown drive but was stagnant other than that. Brandon Marshall, a star of the first two weeks, made a big mistake on an inexplicable lateral that set up a Philadelphia touchdown.
The Eagles get the ball to start the second half. The Jets could really use a quick three and out to build on the momentum from the touchdown drive. Maybe they can start to get back into the game.
