This is a doubleheader week for CBS, while FOX will show one game to each region. In New York, however, there will only be one game shown on CBS. This is because the Jets play at home in the early afternoon timeslot on FOX. By NFL rule, no other game may be shown at the same time a local team is playing a home game. Because of this, there is no early game on CBS. It is no great loss, though. Who would watch another game when the Jets are playing anyway?
If you live in the New York area, you will see:
Eagles at Jets early on FOX
Bills at Dolphins late on CBS
Today's game is slated to kick off at 1:00 PM Eastern. Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch will be the announcers. It will be shown in all of New York State, Pennsylvania aside from the Pittsburgh area, New England aside from the Boston area, Delaware, the Delmarva part of Maryland, and parts of South Florida. The entire nation will see Broncos at Lions tonight on NBC and Chiefs at Packers tomorrow on ESPN.
