It is a relief that WR Eric Decker did not tear his PCL last Monday against the Indianapolis Colts, but the wideout will have to miss today's game as he recovers from the knee strain. Our John B. has noted how important Decker is to the New York Jets offense, and how OC Chan Gailey designs for him to be open.
For the Jets offense, it may also be a relief that they are facing a Philadelphia Eagles defense with struggling CB Byron Maxwell, and without LB Kiko Alonso. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Decker will only miss one week and should be back next week against the Miami Dolphins:
#Jets WR Eric Decker (PCL sprain) won’t play today against the #Eagles, source said. Might just miss one week, though.

Meanwhile, WR Devin Smith has gotten healthier and practiced this week. Perhaps we will see his NFL debut today. And perhaps we will see veteran WR Jeremy Kerley see more than one offensive snap. What do you think?
