Eric Decker has had quite the start to the season, with a running mate in Brandon Marshall and a capable QB in Ryan Fitzpatrick, we're finally seeing the talent that was showcased in Denver on such a consistent basis. Although his first year was hardly a failure.
Unfortunately Decker had to leave the game early last night with a knee injury. Initially some feared structural damage, however Decker himself thought it was minor. The Jets had an MRI performed today to make sure, and the news was positive.
Eric Decker has a sprained knee and is listed as day to day. There is no structural damage and he certainly won't require surgery. His status for Philadelphia is still up in the air, but we've escaped a bullet there.
Two games into the season, Decker has 10 catches for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns.
MRI confirms that Jets WR Eric Decker has a sprained knee. Coach Todd Bowles says he is day to day and Decker is hopeful he can play Sunday.
