Jets' Week 2 Defensive Snap Counts vs. Colts

Here comes the Jets. We've dedicated a lot of resources to this defense and it came out and dominated a high octane offense.

I've always been a defensive kind of guy, I take a lot more pleasure in seeing a sack than a touchdown, a game changing interception over a long bulldozing run and a big hit over a diving catch. Luckily the Jets have one of the best defenses in the league, and they came out in full force to thwart Andrew Luck, T.Y Hilton and the rest of the Indianapolis offense.

The snap counts aren't all that surprising. Leger Douzable was in on  66% of the defensive plays and Bowles mixed in a few 4 man defensive fronts that made you dream of having Williams, Harrison, Wilkerson and Richardson on the line at the same time.

After a very impressing showing in week one, Marcus Williams was perhaps unlucky not to be in the game more. However when you have Revis, Cromartie and Skrine performing, there really isn't a great deal of room.

Overall the defensive display was spectacular, oh and did I mention that we still have former defensive rookie of the year Sheldon Richardson to come back?

In total the jets played 64 defensive snaps against the Colts last night on Monday Night Football.
