Week 1 is finally here! Wooooooooo! OK, now that we've got that out of the way, let's talk Bold Predictions for the Jets vs. Browns. Disclaimer: A Bold Prediction is something that is neither probable nor impossible. Bold Predictions are not meant to be likely to happen, but they must be achievable. Predicting that Zac Stacy will run for 500 yards this week is not a Bold Prediction. Claiming that Brandon Marshall will have at least 1 reception is also not a Bold Prediction. Predicting that Ryan Fitzpatrick leading the NFL in passer rating this week, on the other hand, certainly qualifies (any week.) Bold Predictions are unlikely, but possible. Here are mine:
1. Chris Ivory has over 150 total yards on offense and notches 3+ receptions for 30+ yards receiving.
2. The Jets have no turnovers and win the turnover battle with an interception and fumble recovery, one of which happens within the Jets' red zone.
3. Eric Decker leads the Jets in receiving with over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.
4. Jeremy Kerley fields at least 3 punts and has no fair catches. He averages over 10 yards per return.
5) Quinton Coples leads the team in both sacks and TFLs with 2 of each.
Bonus Prediction: Jeff Cumberland pancakes a Browns' rusher.
What about you? What are your Bold Predictions for the Jets against the Browns?
