In Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season, CBS will broadcast a doubleheader. FOX will show one game to each region. This is a change. Previously, FOX always had the Week 1 doubleheader, and every game CBS showed was in the early afternoon due to US Open tennis in the late afternoon. ESPN has the US Open this year so CBS can show late games.
If you live in the New York area, you will see:
Browns at Jets early on CBS
Ravens at Broncos late on CBS
Saints at Cardinals late on FOX
The season opener between the Jets and the Browns is scheduled to kick off at 1:00 PM Eastern. It will not be broadcast in many areas, though. You can click here to see maps displaying where games will be broadcast to the rest of the country.
The entire nation will see Giants at Cowboys on NBC Sunday night and Eagles at Falcons and Vikings at 49ers Monday night on ESPN.
