Today is the fourteenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Almost three thousand innocent people were killed as terrorists crashed hijacked airplanes in New York, Washington, and Shanksville.

Today we remember those lost (although we should remember them on every day), and we thank the first responders who put their lives on the line as well as anybody who provided help after the attacks.

To those in pain, you are in our thoughts.

If there are any charities dear to your heart either 9/11 focused or not, please feel free to provide a link to their websites below. I also ask that when commenting you speak with the sensitivity this thread deserves.
