Owusu joining Marshall and Decker in three receiver sets is something to watch.
One of the things I enjoy about a new coaching staff is that everybody starts with a blank slate. Under the previous regime, a guy like Jeremy Kerley might be given the third spot because he had proven himself to the coaching staff. Perhaps he has to prove he is the third best receiver on the team this year. A guy like Owusu, who might not have gotten a look, has a real shot to earn himself playing time. Remember how Jerricho Cotchery struggled to get a look under Herman Edwards and then took Justin McCareins' starting job during Eric Mangini's first training camp?
I am not saying Owusu is another Cotchery. He is not even a lock to make the team. It does seem like the coaching staff is giving him a legitimate change, though.
