The Jets have another training camp practice today. The preseason opener is in the rear view mirror, and the team is now preparing to play better on Friday night against the Falcons.
Yesterday's biggest news might have been Muhammad Wilkerson's words with the press. The defensive lineman said he had a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury, not a huge surprise given the amount of time he has missed. There is still plenty of time between now and the first game of the regular season so there is no need to rush his return. Wilkerson is already fully developed. Missing reps in training camp and preseason will not hurt him the way it would a player trying to make a big improvement this season.
