The New York Jets have announced their training camp schedule today. Camp will kick off on July 29 and last all the way until camp breaks on August 27, shortly before the team's final preseason game on September 3.
As you may recall, the Jets are NOT going to go to Cortland this year, but rather will conduct camp on their home training facility in Florham Park, NJ. The Jets will have their annual Green and White practice at MetLife Stadium at 7:00 pm on August 8, and will hold Jets Family Night at Hofstra University
The Jets would like to emphasize two new features added to this year's camp experience. The first, for those of us that like to sit but forget to bring chairs, the Jets are making bleachers with a 1,400 person capacity available to the fans. Secondly, the Jets will be having lottery drawings for fans to come to select practices not open to the public where the team will be practicing on the side fields more suitable for small groups to allow people to get closer to the action.
