If reports from Jets minicamp were any indication today, quarterback Geno Smith was the star of the day.
So, about those interceptions.. Geno has now thrown touchdowns on his last five passes.

Beautiful deep ball from Geno to Walt Powell, who makes the catch on ... Revis. #jets

Geno had a rough first day of minicamp, tossing three interceptions, so this was a big bounceback. What does this mean? Allow me to repeat what I said yesterday.
This is just one practice. When Geno threw interceptions to guys low on the depth chart yesterday it didn't prove he's a lost cause. Today does not prove he is going to be great. One practice only means so much. Once we get to training camp and somebody strings together four or five good or practices in a row, it might mean something. Even then, it would not count for much.
It's news so we report it. Just keep it in context.
