The New York Jets opened their rookie minicamp today and made several roster moves.

Veteran offensive tackle Corey Hilliard, signed in March as a free agent and expected to provide depth at the tackle position, has retired. In addition, the Jets announced they have released tight end Chris Pantale and linebacker Chris Young.  These moves were the fallout from the Jets' recent undrafted free agent signings, which, after accounting for the new Jets draft class, made for a roster exceeding the NFL's 90 man offseason limit.

The Jets' undrafted free agents attending rookie minicamp include Penn State defensive end Deion Barnes, Syracuse safety Durell Eskridge, Clarion linebacker Julian Howsare, Michigan State linebacker Taiwan Jones, Florida International safety Demarkus Perkins, South Alabama tight end Wes Saxton, Lincoln defensive lineman Davon Walls and Tennessee defensive end Jordan Williams.

The Jets also invited 24 players to tryout for a roster spot at the rookie minicamp, including former San Francisco 49ers first round pick wide receiver A.J. Jenkins, tight end Mike Flacco, Joe Flacco's brother, and quarterback Jake Heaps.

Here is the complete list of the 24 players trying out at the Jets' rookie minicamp, in alphabetical order:
