Mike Maccagnan has been busy reshaping the Jets' scouting department since he arrived. Today the team announced even more changes.
Jets are promoting Matt Bazirgan to Pro Personnel Director, per sources. Bazirgan has been assistant PPR (and scout with #NYJ before that)

There were reports that Maccagnan told Woody Johnson during the interview process the Jets were not investing heavily enough in their scouting operations. There is not much doubt Maccagnan is overseeing a complete overhaul of the front office. Only time will tell whether he has brought in the right people.
