The Chicago Bears have claimed Chris Pantale off waivers from the Jets.
#Bears have claimed TE Chris Pantale off waivers from New York Jets. He appeared in five games last year with NYJ. Roster now at 90.

Pantale was an undrafted free agent out of Boston College signed by the Jets in 2013. He is 6'5" and weighs in at 254 pounds. He spent his two seasons with the Jets bouncing between the practice squad and the active roster. He suited up for the Jets in a grand total of five games and had a single reception for 24 yards.
This is obviously not huge news for the Jets. Pantale was a fringe player who would have faced an uphill battle to make the roster. It is worth noting that the Jets are no longer looking to develop him into an NFL player after two years.
