Bellore was an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan signed by the Jets back in 2011. He found a way to stick as a very productive member of special teams coverage units. Providing value on special teams is one way for fringe players to stay on an NFL roster and buy developmental time. Bellore was never able to play his way into a prominent role as a linebacker so it isn't surprising to see the Jets move on. They found Bellore from the scrap heap. Now is the time to find the next Bellore.
Thanks for the four years of special teams play, and good luck.
