Jets 2015 Schedule Released

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The 2015 Jets regular season schedule has been officially released.

Some of the highlights:

  • The Jets open at home September 13 at 1:00 PM against former defensive coordinator Mike Pettine.
  • There are four games that will be on national television. Three will be in primetime, and one will be in the morning. Week 2 the Jets visit Andrew Luck and the Colts on Monday Night Football. Week 4 the Jets and the Dolphins play at 9:30 AM in London on CBS. Rex's Ryan's return to the Meadowlands is Week 10 as the Bills come on Thursday Night Football. Then on December 19, the Jets go to Dallas on a Saturday night NFL Network game.
  • The Jets' bye comes Week 5, the week after the London game. Normally I prefer byes as late as possible to get the team ready for the stretch run, but the Jets need to beat the jetlag.
  • December is rivalry month. It starts Week 13 with a game against the Giants. The last two weeks, the Jets host New England and then go to Buffalo to close out the regular season. Just imagine if that Buffalo game has a Playoff spot on the line.
