Ian Rapoport says Georgia running back Todd Gurley's knee is recovering well from his ACL tear.
#Georgia RB Todd Gurley (ACL), who had medical rechecks yesterday & today, checked out fine, source said. Viewed as good to go for the draft

Gurley is considered by many to be the top running back in this year's class. I agree with those many. If not for the injury, I think Gurley would be in play at pick number six.
Jeremy did a GGN Draft profileon Gurley, and I second his comments. To me, he is the next great back in the NFL. There is plenty of talk about the devaluation of the position in today's NFL, but I believe very much in the ability of a great back to change the dynamics of an offense.
With only four picks in the first six rounds, I'm generally against the idea of the Jets trading up this year. If Gurley slides late into the first round, that might be the one exception as long as the medical staff is comfortable with his knee.
