The Giants have signed free agent defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis.
Giants to sign former Jets DL Kenrick Ellis to a one-year deal, source says.

Ellis was a third round pick by the Jets in 2011 who spent four years with the team. He came into the league with high expectations. Although he was selected late in the third round, that was not due to his ability.
Unfortunately, Ellis never could put it together with the Jets, partially because he was frequently banged up. He peaked as a solid rotational player and was ultimately surpassed at his position by Damon Harrison.
