New York Jets Expected to Pursue Darrelle Revis

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

Darrelle Revis has a $20 million option to stay with the New England Patriots next season, but if the Patriots do not agree to pay that amount, and the two sides can't work out a new deal, he will become a free agent. If that happens, the New York Jets are expected to go after Revis in free agency.

Obviously, the team has a desperate need for cornerbacks and will have a lot of money to spend. It's possible the team could reunite the Revis and Antonio Cromartie duo, although it's unlikely with Dee Milliner and Dexter McDougle returning.

There has been a lot of bad blood between the team and Revis going back to his holdouts, trade, and signing with the Patriots. With Revis, if there's one thing that can bridge that gap, it's money. However, Revis is arguably the best player to suit up in green and white, and he built the foundations of his legacy with the Jets. Would you want him back?
