Sunday Night Football, week 13. The Indianapolis Colts, sans their star quarterback Andrew Luck, visit the Pittsburgh Steelers, with a banged up Ben Roethlisberger expected to get the start. This one is a matchup rife with playoff implications, including for the Jets' playoff hopes. Indianapolis is vying with Houston for a division championship, and in the alternative, for one of the two wildcard spots. Pittsburgh is out of the division race but is very much in contention for a wildcard spot. The winner here will be in excellent shape to grab a playoff spot, while the loser will be dealt a big blow to their playoff hopes.
In Luck's absence 40 year old Matt Hasselbeck has performed admirably, going 4-0 in his starts, and bringing the Colts back into playoff contention. Colts fans will have to hope he can continue his 40 year old fairy tale against the sublime passing/receiving tandem of Roethlisberger and the incredible Antonio Brown. This should be an entertaining game on Sunday night, well worth watching, not least of all for its consequences regarding the Jets' playoff hopes.
