Ryan Fitzpatrick Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports

Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Jets' victory over the Patriots Sunday.

Fitzpatrick threw for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime to Eric Decker Sunday.

This is the second time Fitzpatrick has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week in the last three weeks. This is the third time in four weeks a Jet has won the honor. Brandon Marshall took home the award after the Jets' victory over the Giants early in December.  Who would have thought we would be saying that in 2015?

It has been a long time since the Jets had an offense clicking like the one they have right now. Heading into the regular season finale, this is a team firing on almost all cylinders.
