Revis Almost Certainly Out For Giants Game

Sorry to bring you bad news this evening.

I'm sorry to have to say that it looks as though Revis will miss his 2nd game in a row this Sunday, with the corner almost certainly being out.

Revis came in today to see the trainers, did some light exercises and then headed home. Meaning he has not partaken in any practises since suffering a concussion against Houston.

Coach Bowles wouldn't confirm that Revis was definitely out, but he did have this to say when he was asked if Revis could play after just one days practice:

"I don’t think so. He didn’t do anything today, so it’s more likely that he won’t play."

Revis is getting better every single day, but he still isn't well enough to take part in practice. There is no schedule for his return and concussions affect players in different ways.

Bowles also confirmed that Marcus Williams will be a game time decision, after the cornerback missed another day of practice today. The truth is, the Jets will likely have to face the Giants without the services of Revis or Williams.

There is hope that linebacker Calvin Pace will be ready to play.
