Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Packers at Lions

Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay looking to regain momentum with a division win.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Both the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions come into this Thursday night matchup a full week removed from their previous game  on Thanksgiving. Both teams are also coming into this clash having seen their seasons change direction over the last few weeks; the Lions having won three straight after playing themselves out of contention with a 1-7 start while the once 6-0 Packers having dropped four games in five.

The Packers slide has seen them drop behind the Vikings in the NFC North, but they remain firmly in contention for a fifth straight division title. First though, they'll need to reverse recent momentum with a big road division win over the suddenly firing Lions.
