NFL Playoff Bracket: Jets Would Face Broncos in Playoffs If Season Ended Now

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

If the season ended right now, the Jets would own the sixth and final spot in the AFC Playoffs. They would have a trip to Denver to play the Broncos ahead of them. Tonight's Denver-Cincinnati game will change the AFC Playoff landscape, but this is where we start the day.

1. New England bye

2. Cincinnati bye

6. Jets at 3. Denver

5. Kansas City at 4. Houston

In the NFC, we know the six teams will be Carolina, Arizona, Green Bay, Washington, Seattle, and Minnesota. The question is how the teams will be seeded. The Panthers and the Cardinals both could still earn the top seed. Minnesota and Green Bay play for the NFC North title on Sunday night. Seattle could either be the fifth or the sixth seed. The only team locked into a seed is Washington. We know they will be the fourth seed. Here are things as they stand today.

2. Arizona bye
