Baltimore over Pittsburgh: The Jets and Steelers are tied for the last Wild Card spot in the AFC, but Pittsburgh holds the tiebreaker. A Ravens win along with a Jets victory would give New York control of its own destiny heading into the final week of the season.
Cleveland over Kansas City: This is the same situation. The Jets are tied with the Chiefs but lose the tiebreaker to Kansas City. A Browns win along with a Jets win breaks the tie.
Cincinnati over Denver: It is difficult to believe Denver is in this situation, but there is now a real chance the Broncos could miss the Playoffs. A Denver loss along with a Jets win leaves the teams tied. The Jets would win a tiebreaker scenario. The Broncos losing would leave two possibilities. The Chiefs could win out. That would give Kansas City the AFC West title. Then the Jets would be in a tie with Pittsburgh and Denver for the last two spots assuming New York and Pittsburgh wins. Since the Jets would win a tiebreaker over the Broncos, they would make the Playoffs by winning out. The other possibility would be Denver winning the AFC West because Kansas City loses a game. If the Chiefs lose a game, the Jets control their own destiny anyway.
