Devin Smith To Have MRI On Knee Injury Tomorrow

The only blemish on a near flawless performance.

The Jets enjoyed a rare straight forward victory earlier tonight, beating up on the Titans with a final score of 30-8. Unfortunately for the Jets, there was one major negative to come out of the game.

That negative of course was the knees injury to rookie receiver Devin Smith who crumpled to a heap when covering a punt in the 3rd quarter. He was carted off the field in obvious pain.

Todd Bowles confirmed after the game that Smith will be having an MRI on his knee tomorrow morning. Although he wouldn't speculate on the injury, anyone watching could see that it didn't look good and I wouldn't bet against it ending his season.

Smith recently caught his first NFL TD against Miami and was slowly becoming more involved in the offense, as well as performing as the gunner on special teams.

If this injury does end Smiths season, it will cap a disappointing start for the former Ohio State star.
