Texans vs Patriots Game Thread

Will Brian Hoyer beat down his former mentor?

Sunday Night Football, week 14. Tonight we have a matchup between two AFC first place teams. The New England Patriots visit the Texans in Houston, with major playoff implications for this matchup. The Patriots come into the game with Julian Edelman set to watch the game from the sideline, and Rob Gronkowski pretty banged up. They also come into the game coming off back to back losses for the first time in more than a decade. How ridiculous is that? However, the Patriots still have Brady and Belichick, and as long as those two are around, the Patriots will be a very tough game for any opponent. Meanwhile the Texans, after a brutal start to the season, have come on of late, winning four of their last five under the leadership of former Brady backup Brian Hoyer. With an offense featuring All World DeAndre Hopkins and a defense featuring All World J. J. Watt, the Texans have extremely dangerous weapons on both sides of the ball and are not an easy matchup for anybody. It would be nice to see the Texans extend the Patriots' losing streak to an unimaginable three games.
