Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis said he expects to play this weekend against the Titans. Speaking to the media, Revis stated that he expects to be cleared by doctors and back on the field to help the Jets playoff push.
Revis has missed the last two games for the Jets (both victories) after suffering a concussion against Houston on the 22nd of November. His concussion symptoms were so bad, he hasn't been able to practice fully, and even today he had a red no-contact jersey on.
Concussions are very serious, and as we've mentioned so many times this year, different players progress through the protocol at different speeds, with this not being Revi's first concussion, extra precaution needs to be taken.
It's important to note that Revis has not been cleared as of yet, but his confidence gives me confidence.
"I'll be ready to go Sunday."
