Jets vs. Dolphins Second Half Thread

The Jets lead the Dolphins at halftime by a 14-0 score at MetLife Stadium.

As the score suggests, the defense dominated. The fact it is doing so without Darrelle Revis makes the half of football all the more impressive. The unit stood tall early in the game as it held the Dolphins off the board despite Miami starting several early drives with excellent field position. Marcus Williams, starting in place of Revis, had a big interception but was unfortunately injured on the play.

The offense was spotty. The defense kept giving the unit chances to take a big lead, and the offense did not take advantage of many opportunities until a Ryan Fitzpatrick pass to Brandon Marshall gave New York a 7-0 lead. Then right before the half, a second Fitzpatrick touchdown put New York ahead 14-0. Who caught the pass? Maligned rookie Devin Smith made a really nice grab.
