Miami Dolphins Claim Quinton Coples On Waivers

New, comments

He'll now face the Jets on Sunday.

Well we thought he would get claimed on waivers and that's exactly what happened.

Former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum, now working in Miami decided to put a claim in on the former 1st round draft pick of the Jets in 2012.

The Dolphins who lost Cameron Wake earlier this year play a more traditional 4-3 system and it could be a system that Coples excels in. I wanted him to do well, but now he's moved to Miami, I can't say as I want him to do all that well.

Tannenbaum was the general manager of the Jets when we selected Coples in 2012, and it seems as though he still has faith in him. Coples may play against the Jets this Sunday and would you bet against him getting a sack? That seems to be how football works.
