Quinton Coples may not be the most popular player to ever play in green and white, but he went out in a classy fashion by thanking the fans and the team for giving him an opportunity. We should hear later today if a team decided to pick Quinton up off waivers.
I would like to thank Mr. Johnson and the entire Jets organization for the opportunity of a lifetime to play in the National Football League

To all the incredible New York Jets fans and supporters, I am humbled and most grateful for you. I wish the Jets nothing but the best.

I know God has plans for me and I will learn from this and look forward to the next opportunity. God bless

I really do wish Coples well with his new team, he seems like a genuinely good guy. I'd like to see him in a better scheme fit and hope he lands somewhere in the NFC with a 4-3 team, and he has success.
