Sheldon Richardson A Game-Time Decision

New, comments

The Jets #91 is questionable for the game in Houston.

William Hauser-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets may be without former defensive rookie of the year Sheldon Richardson this Sunday as they take on the Texans in Houston.

Richardson has been suffering with a hamstring injury and failed to practise this week. Todd Bowles wouldn't say his defensive lineman would or would not play, instead he simply states that he'd make the decision on Sunday

"I’ll see him warm up before the game. I’ll make a decision after that. It will be a game-time decision" Bowles explained.

If Richardson can't play, Leonard Williams the Jets first round draft pick from 2015 will step straight in, with the Jets perhaps playing more 3-4.

Sheldon is a fantastic player, there is no doubt about that, but if there is a position the Jets can absorb an injury to, it's the defensive line:

in other injury related news. Calvin Pryor will be back, Dion Bailey is out and Dee Milliner is in contention after practising fully on Friday.
