In my personal opinion, a good team will rotate the bottom of its roster. Constantly looking for that diamond in the rough. The Jets do work out a lot of players and last night they had another player in for a visit.
Blaine Clausell is a tackle/guard who went undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft. He was signed as a priority free agent by the Baltimore Ravens, but was cut in September. The New England patriots quickly signed him and stored him on their roster before cutting him yesterday.
Less than 12 hours after he was cut by the Patriots, he was in New York having a visit with Jets, there is no indication that he has been signed, but the visit was confirmed by Blaine's agent
The New York Jets are bringing T/G Blaine Clausell in for a visit this evening... was let go by the New England Patriots earlier today.

He does come with a little pedigree. He was the starting left tackle for Mississippi State in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. However he was always projected to guard in the NFL. I saw him a couple of times at State and although his pass protection was never good enough to project him to tackle, his hand placement and power made him a desirable guard target.
He did struggle through injuries for most of the off-season limiting his ability to impress the Ravens.
