Kenbrell Thompkins Gets His Chance: Jets vs. Raiders Offensive Snap Counts

New, comments
Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

The injuries the Jets suffered at wide receiver opened up opportunities. Jeremy Kerley's snaps continued to stay up this week, and Kenbrell Thompkins, signed off the practice squad, played 53 snaps in yesterday's game. He responded with 6 receptions and drew a penalty. It is worth noting the flow of the game might have inflated the playing time for the wide receivers. The Jets spent most of the game in catch up mode, needing to throw it. It still will be worth keeping an eye on playing time going forward. Thompkins did made a case to see action over Devin Smith once Smith returns from injury.
