There are multiple reports out that S Calvin Pryor expects to play this Sunday against the Houston Texans. Pryor exited the game against the New England Patriots with an ankle injury and has sat out the past three weeks. In many ways, the defense has struggled since Pryor's departure, although he's certainly not a savior or anything like that.
Pryor has had a good year after a miserable rookie season, but with the emergence of Rontez Miles last week, it's going to be interesting to see how Todd Bowles incorporates both strong safety-types into the defense. Perhaps one of them will be used more as a linebacker. Something to keep an eye on.
