Pace has worked his way up the Saints organization from Scouting Assistant to Pro Scout to Director of Pro Scouting to his current job.
For whatever it is worth, the Saints think quite highly of Pace. They blocked Miami's request to inteview Pace a year ago, and general manager Mickey Loomis has called Pace his team's secret.
From his profile on the Saints official website:
His well-rounded experiences included evaluating players from around the league as well as prospects from NFL Europe, the Arena Football League and the Canadian Football League. Pace also tracked player movement, scouted college players and assisted in the preparation of the draft room.
