Report: Jets To Hire Kevin Patullo As QB Coach

The coaching staff is slowly coming together

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Todd Bowles has been busy over the last few days putting his coaching team together and he may have another cog in place in the form of a new QB coach:

This is a little strange to me considering Patullo has spent the majority of his career coaching wide receivers. He was with the Buffalo Bills as their quality control coach and assistant wide receiver coach, where he oversaw Stevie Johnson have back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons. He then moved on to the Titans where he was again the assistant wide receivers coach. His old Bills profile suggests he was in charge of the clubs offensive self-scouting duties and is responsible for computer analysis, statistical and video breakdowns of opponents on a weekly basis.

He was brought to the Bills under Chan Gailey, so you have that connection right there. It's going to be interesting to see how he handles the QB coaching position, he has a lot of work to do if he is indeed hired.
