This is getting somewhat repetitive now, but the New York Jets want Dan Quinn. They want him badly.
The Jets' target is Seattle DC Dan Quinn. They want him "badly," per source. #nyj

The interest is mutual. Quinn wants to coach his hometown team.
As long as Woody Johnson is content to wait for Dan Quinn, then he'll be Jets HC, with Mike Maccagnan as the GM.

This confirms a report by Manish Mehta that Quinn wants to coach the Jets. As we reported earlier, if the Seattle Seahawks lost yesterday, the consortium of Woody Johnson, Charley Casserly, and Ron Wolf would have flown to Seattle to hire Quinn. It seems like it's as close to official as you can get before signing the paperwork.
So, if Johnson can wait up to three more weeks, Quinn, it seems, is his. Will Johnson be able to wait? Should he be? What do you think?
