The Bills went 9-7 in 2014 in what was their first winning season since 1999. Rex Ryan will be taking over what was a very, very good defense with arguably the best defensive line in football in Buffalo with Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, and Jerry Hughes.
Ryan enters a situation very similar to the one he had in East Rutherford, where the Jets are a defense-first team with struggles under center. However, Buffalo does have some talent to work with in young offensive line pieces, a highly talented though injury prone RB duo with CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson, and the explosive Sammy Watkins out at WR. It will be interesting to see if Rex can figure out in Buffalo what he was never able to do here with the Jets, and that's find a franchise quarterback.
