Jets vs. Raiders Game Thread

After a long winter, spring, and summer the Jets are back!

Gang Green opens its 2014 season today against the Oakland Raiders and rookie quarterback Derek Carr. With a difficult string of passing attacks on deck, this is about as good of a chance as the Jets are going to get to break in a makeshift secondary.

This is a pretty important opener. Next week the Jets go on the road. They face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. These Packers will be desperate to avoid an 0-2 start and have three extra days to prepare since they played Thursday. The Jets don't want to go to Lambeau Field needing a win to avoid 0-2 themselves.
