Jets Daytime Thread 9/3

The Jets' season opens Sunday. The NFL season opens tomorrow night.

Yesterday the Jets got a bit of good news/bad news. Antonio Allen is healthy enough to start at cornerback. That is the good news. The bad news is the Jets are so thin at corner that they are actually going to run out a safety whose experience at cornerback is quite minimal.

The Jets also continued tinkering with the bottom of their roster/practice squad. That might continue as we head into the regular season. It probably won't stop once we get into the season.
