Last weekend, Muhammad Wilkerson was ejected from the game, and both he and Sheldon Richardson were fined for their roles in a fight that broke out between the New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers. Richardson in particular was not happy that he was fined. Tonight, he has a chance to show just how pissed off he is against the Chicago Bears.
I once heard a saying that Jay Cutler will win his team the football game in the fourth quarter if he doesn't lose it in the first three. Tonight, Wilkerson and Richardson need to harass Cutler into making the mistakes for which he's become famous. If they don't, then it's going to be hard for the offense to keep up with Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Santonio Holmes, and Matt Forte.
Roberto Garza and Matt Slauson, the starting center and left guard, are both out for this game. Slauson in particular is being replaced by rookie Michael Ola. Wilkerson and Richardson, along with Damon Harrison and the rest of The Wolves, need to exploit this fact. They need to play pissed off. They need to put Cutler on the ground, and they need to keep him there.
